Patterns!
Students In Kindergarten are asked to identify, extend, reproduce, and create repeating patterns through investigation, using a variety of materials and actions.
They are also asked to identify and escribe informally the repeating patterns in everyday contexts (e.g., patterns in nature, clothing, floor tiles, literature, schedules, etc.)

Discovering/sorting living & non living things
Students in Kindergarten are expected to sort and classify groups of living and non-living things in their own way. We have explored this by observing nature at the beginning of March and at the end of March, sorting picture cards in class, as well as photos on the school smart board. Here are a few examples:
